New England’s conservative game plan has worked all year so it’s unlikely to change now. Last Week The Titans gambled some, throwing deep because of their concern for Lewis, hence the 3 picks. McNair will not be gambling this Week against The Patriots strength, their secondary. The Titans running game has improved in recent Weeks since using a TE as FB and will focus on that, a short passing game, field position and take what that gives them.
This is a mirror image of The Patriot’s Offense, who will be equally aware that a turnover could spell doom. The weather forecast of 0 degrees and winds up to 20 mph and supposedly loose turf can only compound the situation as taking chances are concerned. All in all a tight game between two good Teams where one mistake could be the difference. Getting 6 pts is at least 3 too many and 61/2 takes away the field goals, something New England has been good at this year.

Carolina Panthers @ St Louis Rams
No matter what they have tried, The Rams have not been able to stop the run all year, something that doesn’t bode well taking on Carolina. When Carolina have been able to play their running game, they have been good for 17 pts. The 7+ pointspread mean The Rams need to score 24, which is about what they are good for this season.
The problem for The Rams is if they let Carolina achieve their running targets it takes away their chances of scoring and turnovers. That and playing a Defense which is firing on all cylinders makes this a tough situation for them. The obvious game plan for The Rams would be quick strikes but then that would put them in a precarious position. Given The Panthers better Special Teams advantage, the points look too many.
